Alan Wake - Trailer (Game Trailer HD)



So I recently got Alan Wake from gamefly. I didn't know what to expect, due to the fact that some of my friends said it was terrible. I did go into it with high hopes. And I got more than I expected. I really feel like this game is under rated. I don't want to give anything away...but you won't be disappointed. Has anyone else played this fine game?

    I have. I feel its great at building atmosphere, but it just doesn't DO anything with it. I think that's the most disappointing part of the game. It also feels pretty repetitive.

    I haven't played it, but I commend you on ignoring other's opinions and trying it anyway. Too many people rely on critics these days.

    Alan Wake is totally under-rated.
    Some people just arent into this type of gameplay though....which I don't understand. :D

    It has a bit of a "silent hill" vibe to it.. The attention to detail is pretty nice, but i wouldn't waste my time with it not being a hardcore gamer. Just not epic enough for my taste...
